A basic ingredient in aluminum electrocoloring processes
We are the second largest producer in Europe
We are the second-largest producer in Europe of Stannous Sulfate, also known as tin sulfate (SnSO4 in 225 g/l solution), a substance that is used as a raw material for the manufacture of tin-based mixtures and has several industrial applications. In particular, in the automotive field it is used in the process of electrocoloring aluminum in automobile bodies, which is more durable and of better quality. In construction, on the other hand, stannous sulfate is applied as a reducing agent for hexavalent chromium in clinker or the nobler cements, by electrolytic and galvanic means. We package it in 1000 or 1150 kg IBCs, and rely on our partner company Kephas to market it. We make this substance by an absolutely “green” process, by heating the material at room temperature without harmful emissions, as well as by using electricity from a renewable source such as our photovoltaic system.
